Friday 23rd August - 5.30 to 7.30pm
Great way to close off the week and sweep into your weekend, feeling restored, connected and peaceful.
The intention is to stretch, open and restore the body even deeper than we get chance during our daily practice. We spend so much of our lives rushing and being busy in our minds and days. These 2 hours will be a perfect opportunity to just reverse the busyness, to slow down, be still and quiet so you can go back to your life with more vigor more energy and contentment.
Yin is an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture the calm, quiet center that is innate in all of us. It is a practice in stillness, patience, and non-reactivity. Through yin yoga we become adept at self-care. We become better listeners with practice tuning in; we become wiser as we get to know ourselves from the inside out; and we become more curious about the world through the exploration of our own inner worlds. Yin Yoga is a style of yoga where the poses are mainly seated and held for a bit longer than normal. It is a practice to negate stiffness in the body and to encourage softness of the mind. Yin yoga is perfect for everyone.
